Join the community for a spaghetti dinner designed to bring together area residents to talk about creating safe communities and reducing gun violence. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the Desoto Bass community grounds (811 Oldfield Pl.). Admission is free.
The evening’s activities will include presentations by the Community-Police Council and the Community Initiative to Reduce Gun Violence, “Know Your Rights” breakout sessions (for adults and youth) facilitated by the Dayton Police Department and the Thurgood Marshall Law Society, and a resource fair.
