In an effort to better connect with our community and listen to their concerns or suggestions, the Community Police Council will partner with the city’s Mediation Center to facilitate listening tours, constructive and safe spaces in which concerns of the community can be heard and addressed and identify solutions for strengthening relationships.
The community dialogues will target immigrant-dense neighborhoods in order to reach individuals who are directly experiencing the demographic changes, and offer opportunity for dialogue that allow recent immigrants and long-term residents of the Dayton community to get to know each other better.
