Community Police Council Block Party

In effort to create safe and inclusive neighborhoods and build effective working relationships between law enforcement and the community, community block parties offer members of the community a free fun-filled day with activities, food, and music, while raising awareness about gun violence.

Welcome Dayton Citizenship Clinic

Welcome Dayton has partnered with Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE) to provide a free citizenship eligibility screening and consultation with an immigration attorney, assistance completing the citizenship application and fee waiver, and referrals to ESOL classes and citizenship study materials.

Community Police Council Listening Tour

In an effort to better connect with our community and listen to their concerns or suggestions, the Community Police Council will partner with the city’s Mediation Center to facilitate listening tours, constructive and safe spaces in which concerns of the community can be heard and addressed and identify solutions for strengthening relationships.
