“World House” Party to Honor MLK Legacy, Build Community

The Youth World House Party will present music, dance, spoken word, food and more to celebrate the achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and inspire youth to create positive change in their communities.

The third annual event presented by the Dayton Human Relations Council in partnership with the YWCA of Greater Dayton is will take place on Saturday, January 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the YWCA, 141 W. Third St. Admission is free.

Presenters will explore contemporary issues regarding race, social justice and diversity. Participating youth will have the opportunity to create banners to be used during the Dayton MLK memorial march, which will occur on January 18.
