Spaghetti Dinner, Event to Bring Together Community Thursday, April 9

A spaghetti dinner and community meeting will bring together area residents to talk about creating safe and inclusive communities and reducing gun violence. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 9, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Wayman A.M.E. Chapel Church, 3317 Hoover Ave. Admission is free.

The eveningʹs activities will include presentations by the Community‑Police Council and the Community Initiative to Reduce Gun Violence, a resource fair and sessions including a west Dayton leadership roundtable, youth engagement (ages 11 and under) and a ʺknow your rights and responsibilitiesʺ training by the Dayton Police Department and the Thurgood Marshal Law Society (ages 12 and up).
