High school students encouraged to apply for Young Ambassador Program

The Dayton Human Relations Council is launching its summer Young Ambassador Program. High school students (grades 9-12) throughout Montgomery County are encouraged to apply.

Young Ambassadors represent the Human Relations Council in its community engagement efforts. Participating students will do outreach to area residents, complete a community-based project and build media production skills through Dayton Access Television.

The program is designed to empower local high school students to engage in social justice issues and increase their college readiness. Activities begin July 9 and conclude August 29, with two evening meetings weekly.
