Westwood Residents to be Surveyed for Neighborhood Safety Plan
the Human Relations Council, the Dayton Police Department and the Westwood Right Project CDC will work together on a comprehensive neighborhood safety plan and to provide tools to residents that they can use to address identified concerns. Resident safety is about more than crime. We need to find ways to “invest in safety beyond policing” and to empower residents to develop alternative structures to address safety concerns. The process starts with residents giving voice to concerns and then taking action in their community.
**If you do not receive a survey in the mail, please visit Wesley Dayton, call the Human Relations Council at 937-333-1400, or contact The Westwood Right Project CDC 937-263-0076 to have one mailed to you.
