Education Business Expo, being held Thursday, June 30, 2016

To support continued efforts to expand access to state contracts for minority-owned, women-owned and small businesses, you are invited to participate in the Education Business Expo, being held Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.* located at Ohio State School for the Blind 5220 N. High Street Columbus, OH  43214.

Use the front entrance of the school; signage will be available upon arrival for parking and for Expo activities.

 

The event is sponsored by the Ohio School for the Blind, Ohio School for the Deaf, Ohio Department of Education and Ohio Department of Higher Education Ohio in conjunction with Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and the Ohio Development Services Agency. Businesses are encouraged to register for the expo by June 24, 2016, but walk-ins are welcome. Admission and parking are free.

 

This networking opportunity will connect you with purchasing representatives from the State entities mentioned above and select private companies. Additionally, you may participate a variety of workshops. Also available is the computer lab where you can begin certification, recertification or cross certification into the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity (EDGE) programs; begin registration to do business with the state and receive bid notifications; or learn how to navigate the state’s procurement website.
