Disparity study seeks information at community meetings
Release Date: Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018. The City of Dayton is conducting a disparity study to determine if disparities exist between the utilization and the availability of small, minority-owned and women owned businesses in the marketplace for City contracts. Area business owners and stakeholders are invited and encouraged to participate in one of two upcoming meetings conducted by MGT Consulting Group, which will receive comments regarding:
Ease in finding City contracting or subcontracting opportunities.
Recommendations for improvement of existing bid and proposal policies.
Roadblocks encountered when trying to do business with the City of Dayton.
The meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 4, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Thursday, Sept. 6, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Both will be held at the Dayton Metro Library Northwest Branch at 2410 Philadelphia Dr.
