Conversation Offers Opportunity to Discuss Islam, Islamophobia Thursday, May 19, 6 PM

A community conversation about Islam and Islamophobia will be presented by the Dayton Human Relations Council and the Welcome Dayton program on Thursday, May 19. The event will be held at Ruskin School, 407 Ambrose Ave., at 6 p.m.

The town hall-style discussion will cover the following topics:
– What is Islam (myths and misconceptions)?;
– The rise of Islamophobia;
– The persistence of systemic racism in society.
