Buying A Business:  The Good, the Bad, and the Risky

Dayton, Ohio (October 13, 2017).   One popular path to owning your own business – either as a sole proprietor or as a partner – is to buy a successful existing business.  On Friday, November 3, 2017, Judy Brinegar, President and CEO of B63 Line, will share her lessons learned and advice with female entrepreneurs and small business owners at the upcoming Insights for Women in Business breakfast.  The topic will be “ Buying A Business:  The Good, the Bad, and the Risky.”  In addition, the importance of and the process of becoming Women Business Enterprise (WBE) certified will be discussed.  The event will be held at the Miamisburg Branch Library, 545 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg, OH 45342 starting at 7:30 a.m.

Ms. Brinegar’s career has spanned more than 30 years of marketing, financial and operational roles, including a 19-year stint as Vice President of Operations at a $70 million, 90-person, five-office advertising agency. Incorporating a hand-on approach in all aspects of operation, Judy was a part of the team that grew the agency to its peak.  Her attention to detail and dedication paid off when she became majority partner, president and CEO of B63 Line.

The “Insights for Women in Business” workshop is sponsored and hosted in partnership with Dayton SCORE in conjunction with Dayton Metro Library and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce.
