‘One City’ event raises funds for immigrant and refugee services

Contact: Monica Harris, Welcome Dayton Coordinator, 937-333-1422 The Dayton Human Relations Council presents a fundraiser to support critical services for the Dayton area’s immigrant and refugee community members. “One City: Many People, Many Voices” is a way for the greater Dayton community to invest in welcoming immigrants who are already here and those who may come in the future. Guests will enjoy appetizers celebrating Dayton’s international flavors, entertainment by Rev. Cool. and a cash bar, all at the city’s newest events venue, The Brightside, on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

All funds raised will go to support legal services, leadership training, and continued education and outreach efforts to both immigrant communities and the receiving community.
