About Us
The City of Dayton established the Human Relations Council in May of 1962 to keep peace, order and harmony among the residents and visitors of Dayton, Ohio. We promote peace, goodwill, harmony and work to ensure equal treatment and opportunity for all.
How We Do It
A full-time staff and a ten-member Board of Directors carry out the HRC’s mission. The HRC enforces civil rights and provides business and technical assistance to minority-owned, woman-owned, and small disadvantaged businesses.
Where We Do It
Our services and advice are available to all residents and visitors in the City of Dayton.
