The Dayton Human Relations Council will host the 2022 Small Business Opportunity Forum at the West Branch Library, 300 Abby Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45417 on Thursday April 21, from 8:30am – 12:00pm.
The goal of this forum is to give local businesses the opportunity to meet project decision makers, learn about and apply for certification at the city, state, and federal level, network with prime contractors, city of Dayton departments and community partners who may be seeking subcontractors for upcoming projects, and learn about the City of Dayton’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and its commitment to Black and brown businesses in the community.
This is a free forum that is designed to engage small business owners in the construction and goods and services industry with the City of Dayton’s five major departments:
These departments will introduce upcoming construction projects and procurement opportunities.
The Business and Technical Assistance Center will also share information on the new “Passport to Success Program.” This monthly event is designed to work with small businesses in a variety of areas to expand the capacity building opportunities for underrepresented groups to ensure their success in the PEP program.
